File with attachment created by Excel2003 cannot be opened by Excel2002 sp3 ?

It's found that Excel2003 files with embedded graphic in worksheet cannot be
opened by Excel2002 sp3.
However, if the Excel2003 file has no embedded graph, it can be opened by
Excel2002.

Any idea how to fix it ?

Do you get an error message when you try to open the file with the embedded
graph? And is it an embedded graph, or is it an embedded graphic? (You said
both in your question.)

I'd consider a graph to be a chart -- like you'd add using Excel's chart
wizard. A graphic would be an image (GIF, JPG, PNG, etc.) or perhaps
something you created using the tools on the Drawing toolbar.

Yes, an error of " Microsoft Excel has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."....
2 options of "Send Error Report" & "Don't Send" are showen.
They are embedded graphic files.
