File won't open correctly

Using P2002, WinME, Athlon 1.4, 512K

This situation applies only to some files, and not others that I have
created.

Picture this scenario:
1 document open
When I attempt to open up a second P2002 document to view, the file attempts
to load, but the toolbars are in a large arial-type font, all of the fonts
are listed as missing, and the text and graphics do not appear.

This only happens with some files, not all. I don't think it is a memory
problem, because I can close out 2nd file and open up another, and the third
file opens up fine.

I can even restart my system, and open up the #2 file above (with nothing
else open) and the same corruption still appears.

Is it that specific files are corrupt? Thanks in advance for your help.

File corruption in Publisher files is not a common issue.

I would suggest for a start, you DELETE all files and subfolders in your
c:\Windows\Temp

Defrag your hard drive

Most importantly go to the website of your video card manufacturer, and
download the latest drivers for your video card and correct Windows
operating system.
