find and replace contents of tables and text boxes

I have a 200 page document in publisher 2007. The contents of each page
differ by only a small amount of text at the top of each page. Each page
contains a large table and several text boxes. I need to replace the old
information in the table and several text boxes with the same new information
for all 200 pages. How do I do this quickly and efficiently?

Thanks Mary. I created a master page and applied it to a range of existing publication pages, however, instead of replacing the old information, the new information was superimposed on top. Each page now has overlapping tables, text, and margins of text boxes. What did I do wrong, and how do I fix it? ...Katy

I assumed you wanted your table to change for all 200 pages. You will need to
delete the table on the publication page and do your changes on the master page.
I guess you are having to go through all your pages to delete the text boxes and
tables. There is no quick and easy way to change once you have a table on all
200 pages.

Mary, I periodically need to make changes in the size of the table on
each publication page (ie add more rows with text) and modify the size of the
text boxes beneath it to allow all the info to fit on one page. If I make
these changes to the master and apply them to a range of publication pages,
are you saying that I must always delete the existing tables and text boxes
in each publication page first to avoid superimposing the new information on
the old information? There is no way to use the find and replace option for
whole tables or text boxes? If I need to delete so many items, how do I
apply the delete page option to a range of pages?

Katy, These are the sort of things one plans for when creating a publication.
Once you have 200 pages created, it is not easy editing.
Master pages are an answer if you have to make the same change on a range of
pages. You can have as many master pages as publication pages or as few as one.
If you need to change a table with a new column or row, you can make the change
on the master page and apply it to any publication page.

A very good how-to article
