Finish Milestone auto update

Maybe I'm looking at this right between the eyes, but how can I make a finish
milestone go 100% (or calculate a % complete) in the same way that a summary
task does? So when all of its predecessors are complete, so is the milestone.

You can't. Updating milestones to 100% complete is a completely manual
process. Hope this helps.

FYI, a summary task will never show up as 100% complete if you have
milestones embedded under it that are not manually updated to 100% along
with all the true tasks. You will get summary tasks with numbers like 99%
complete.
