Fixing an apparently corrupt file

I have a project schedule that may be corrupt. When opened, I always get the
filter dialog box for filtering by resource. Also, when I go to the VBA
editor to see if there is something there triggering it on startup, I see
only the Global file (not listing whatsoever for the file I have open). And
if I try to record a macro, it tells me the macro name is invalid (regardless
of what I use for a name).

Aside from the above, the file appears to work fine. Does anyone know of a
way to fix this file?

I'm not convinced the project is corrupted, at least not yet. Assuming the
current View is the Gantt Chart view when you open the project, cancel the
Filter dialog and then do the following:

1. Click View - More Views
2. Click the Edit button to edit the current Gantt Chart view
3. Set the Filter option to All Tasks
4. Click the OK button
5. Click the Apply button
6. Save and close the project
7. Reopen the project again

Do you still see the Filter dialog? Let us know.

Nice try, but it's still there.
