Folder List Management

Unless I am mistaken it appears that when I create a new
page for my web and place pdf's or images in that new
page, fp places all of the corresponding files that it
creates in one location along with all of the other files
created for the entire web.

If I delete that page from the web by deleting it in the
navigation view, does fp automatically delete all
corresponding files for that page, or must I identify all
of the corresponding files myself and delete them
manually?

Is it possible that after creating and deleting so many
web pages, that my web now contains old files that it no
longer uses?

I would appreciate any helpful hints on how to properly
maintain my web.

Thank you.
