Font problems

Whenever I set a font size in a page, save it, and then preview it or view it in my browser (IE 6.0) the font sizes are always reduced drastically. If I go back to normal view and type in an odd sized font size and then view it, the font size looks the same in the browser as it does on the page. Is there a way to fix this problem? If so, please help!

A style sheet defined in the browser may be the problem.
