I have designed a fantastic logo for my business in another program. I have
received many positive comments on the design. I am trying to build my
cards, catalogs/brochures in publisher or word for easy file transfer through
email so others can actually open what i send them, but can not find anything
to help me design my logo the way it is in the other program. poornut font
black with crisp shadow in red. any ideas? thank you

Recreating a logo from scratch in each program or publication si not the
recommended method of using a logo, as it leads to inconsistencies and
extra unnecessary work.

Create your logo in a Draw program (not a paint program), export as an
EMF, and import into Publisher, Word, etc.

Draw programs include CorelDraw (costs money), OpenOffice.org Draw (free
from www.openoffice.org), Adobe Illustrator (costs money), Serif
DrawPlus (an older version is available free from
www.freeserifsoftware.com), Xara XTreme (costs money), etc.
Photoshop, Paint, Paitn Shop Pro, PhotoPlus, etc. are NOT draw programs.
