Fonts in Office 2000

I messed up deleting some old software and need to re-install Office. I've
done it a few times already but get error 1907 - font register problem. What
can I do to solve the problem? I am in and out of Office, particularly
Excel, all day and it's annoying to have to cancel install message each time.
Can I delete the FONTS folder and have it reinstalled with Office?

No, you cannot just delete the Fonts folder.
It comes with your operating system, not with Office.

Please supply more detail.
