Footer on pages 1-5 only

I have a 10 page document and the footer shows on all 10 pages but I only
want it on pages 1-5. I inserted a continuous break but that did nto help.
As soon as I delte the footer off page 6, it is gone from all pages. Advice?

Insert Break NextSection. On the header toolbar in your new section 2
uncheck SameAsPrevious(or LinkToPrevious) then remove the page number.
Or use a conditional field {IF{PAGE} <"5"{PAGE}}
