Hello,
I have a file saved in XML format. The file has text in the headers and
footers. When I try to insert a footnote (tried all options; Insert a file,
copy and paste the text with the footnote, or directly type a footnote in my
text and then try to add the reference information, the result is the same.
My header/footer information fills approximately half the page and I cannot
click in it, however, if I view the Header Footer areas everything appears
normal. The footnote appears in the correct location at the bottom of the
page.
Has anyone seen this or have any thoughts on how to correct this problem. I
am using Windows XP with Office 2003.
