Here is the scenario>
An end user in my domain has a new PC, and I have copied his Groove account
to it. When I launch Groove on the new PC, he needs to enter his password,
which he doesn't remember and never will.
On the old PC, I launch Groove and it remembers his password, so I can get
in, however, because he set Groove to remember his password, I never get the
login screen to see his password hint or select the "Forgot your password?"
link to have a new one sent to him.
On the old PC, when I go into the Options/Preferences/Account and try to
deselect "Remember password", it ASKS FOR THE PASSWORD, which I don't know
and he doesn't remember and never will.
Does anyone else see the extremely failed logic in this situation? Is there
a way to break this circular logic? Is this a lost cause?
