I am wondering if there is a process, to change a PDF file (Adobe)to a Word
document?

Yes - you need third party software. I've often recommended PrimoPDF,
www.primopdf.com, if you don't have Acrobat.

At a glance, PromoPDF seems to convert Word to PDF, not PDF to Word.

I use OmniPage Office, an OCR program, to do that.
