Hi - I'm on a mac platform and can't get photo images to import into my
powerpoint slideshow. I've tried saving the images in photoshop, as jpg's,
as png's, tiff's, etc. and none import. The error message read that ppt was
unable to read or import that type of file.

The last couple of times I tried the error message changed to say that I
need to allocate more memory to powerpoint by using the get info function.
Do you know where this function is? I haven't been able to locate it...

I did size each photo file down to a reasonable size prior to trying to
import them.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

PowerPoint can use all of those formats, unless perhaps it's a very very old
version.

What method are you using to bring the photos in? If you're using File, Open,
that would explain it .. that's only for opening PPT and similar files. Use
Insert, Picture, From File instead.
