Format text styles not working

I'm trying to format tasks, like summary tasks and milestones. I'm using
Format, Text Styles and the drop down box at the top of this
dialog to choose the format I want. But Nothing changes. I have used these
in the past to make the text large and am happy with that, but now I can not
do it agian. It just does not take the format change. I have tired many
different text styles and nothing seems to work consistantly, expecially
larger fonts.

Hi,

Text Styles are overridden by individual text formatting if any.
Select all, Edit, Clear, Formats before applying text styles.

THat was clearly a problem, but I'm unable to choose text to be larger than
12 font for any of the styles. Why is that and is that correct?

Michael,
Is it possible your Windows setup is limited to a font size of 12
maximum with that particular font style? Can you select a font size
larger than 12 in other applications (e.g. Word, Excel, etc.)?

Yes, for sure I can choose other sizes in other applications...
