Formatting Cells - Automatically divides by 1000

How can I correct this problem. I have gone to cell,
number and selected 1233.4444 but the problem is still
recurring. It also happens with new worksheets. Thaks.

Hi Sabrina!

I think that what you are after is:

Tools > Options > Edit
Remove check from "Fixed Decimal"
OK

Sabrina,

You don't describe the nature of your problem (or at least I don't
understand it), however it sounds as if your numbers appear in Excel
different than what you enter. If so : have a look at Tools / Options / tab
Edit and checkbox Fixed decimal. If it is checked, i think that that is
the option which is causing your problems.
