Formatting pages separately

I would like to have some title pages within the document that act as section
breaks but don't have the same logos in the footers as the others. How can I
carve out these pages from the general slide format? Thanks

You can right click on the first slide and click copy, then paste, if you
want title slide within the presentation.
Then, right click on the working area, click background.
Put a checkmark on Omit background graphics from Master. This will hide the
footers.
