Formatting problem when a document is emailed through Outlook

We have several members of staff using Office 2003. The problem they are
experiencing is that when a Word document is emailed through outlook, the
text formatting changes (almost corrupted in appearence). Is there any reasin
for this as it is causing a great deal of problems as the most common way to
send \ share files here is via Outlook \ Exchange.

Actually have noticed that some of the users are using the 'cg times' font !
Could this be the issue ? as it does not appear to be a standard windows \
office font for use on a network with PCL printers.

Barry:
As you have noted, 'cg times' is not a standard MS font. When the
recipient's application does not have a font used by the sender's
application, the applications makes a best-guess font substitution. As your
users are discovering, such substitutions often result in formatting havoc.

The same thing can occur, as you have noted, when a printer driver makes a
best-guess font substitution for a font that it does not recognize.
