formatting when saving from OneNote into Word

Hi all I have OneNote/Word 2007. My One note files are in the following
format: two colomns each in own text box, one running down left side of page
the other down the right. One the left are my reaidng notes ont he right,
lined up are my class/lecture notes.

This works great until I treid to save the notebook as a Word file to create
a class outline, the formatting did not stay and all the bos just were placed
in a single column, in no apparent order.

Is there any way to preserve the formatting of the OneNote notebook when
saving as a word doc?

You may be better off saving as PDF. Some complicated layouts (like your
multiple textboxes) don't get converted well into Word.
