Forms & PDF

Glenn

I created a form in Acrobat Professional which I'd like to have as part of
my website.

I have successfully imported it. However, when I click the "submit" button
I get an error. I think I need to have a CGI script installed somewhere,
but the documentation isn't all that great.

Does anyone have a link to some good directions?

What submit button are you talking about?

After you import the file into your FP web, all you need to do is create a
link to the file on a page.

I did that and it works fine until you click the submit button. That's when
you get the error

I saw, when perusing the documentation, that acrobat 6 has "forms"
capability. that's about as far as I got. ;-)

you may want to check out the adobe acrobat newsgroup or post a link to the
PDF, I'd be interested in seeing it.

If memory serves correctly I think the acrobat form can only be used from
the desktop and reports it's input via email.

follow Kathleen's link to the group.
Let us know how it goes and give a link to your PDF doc. it was one of the
features in Acrobat 6 that interested me (aside from being able to show/
hide layers of a document, which would be great for explanations/
instructions).

TIA

you're not kidding Craig!
As a matter of fact, I can't even get into studio.adobe.com with internet
explorer, I've got to use firefox, but it's the same thing with Citibank's
site too.

I guess we can all breathe a little easier if big shots with huge budgets
like these guys have "cross browser" issues. ;-)
