Formula Question

I am entering a differnt value into a cell that is already part of a formula
in another cell. Before i would change that value and the sum of the formula
tied to that cell would change with it. But today nothing is working except
if i click on the cell with the formula in it and then hit enter. Does anyone
know why this is not updating?

Click on Tools | Options | Calculation tab and check Automatic
Calculation instead of Manual.

Your calculation mode may have accidentially change to Manual.
Select Tool on the menu
Select Option
Choose Calculation tab
check Automatic

Alternatively, just press F9 key after entering a value each time.

Thx that was it ...weird i never changed anything but i did do 10 updates
last night.
