Just a guy
While at work I do some minor maintenenace on our site live on the
server. When I get home I then publish down from the server to my
home computer so I have a current copy of our site here. However,
every time I publish down to my home computer FP provides me with a
list of changed files and asks that I confirm that I want these
changed files downloaded. The problem is, I didn't change any of
those files. I might change my index.html page and then FP wants to
publish an entire directory of images that were never accessed. If I
repeat the publishing the exact same files are sent down again.
Could background running software cause FP to believe that the files
on my computer are not the same as what is on my host? It isn't
trying to publish the entire site but it is always the same files that
get sent down. Instead of a 30 second publishig it is 20 mins. I
have recalculated the hyper links but that did nothing.
