FranklinCovey type 8.5x5.5 planner pages

Hi--
I have a FranklinCovey standard planner with 8.5x5.5 inch pages. Thus, each
page is half a sheet of 8.5 by 11" paper. I want a template in an Office
application to print out my own pages, preferably double-sided. I will cut
the pages in half after printing and punch 7 holes using round circles
printed on each page. Such a template could allow me to avoid the $30 cost
of a new year of pages. I would also like to be able to type into a saved
copy of the template what I write by hand on each page, and then re-print
with those notes. Any ideas of a template and which Office application would
be the best to use?
Thanks, MovinDave

I have the same size planner and struggled with this until I bought the Franklin Covey blank pages. Now I can format (size is standard Statement size option in Microsoft) use Word, Excel, etc. print double sided, etc. I love it. No more cutting or holes to punch. I do everything electronically, check register, address book,(downloaded great templates from Microsoft) miscellancous documents for reference and store them all in my planner. My boss has me customizing his planner now!
