freeze planes so I always see task name

Hello,

MS Project can lock only one column on the left hand side. By default it's
the ID column .
You can change the table definition: put the Task name as the first column:
- View / Tables / More tables /
- Select the table you want "entry" by default
- Modify
- Cut/paste the Name column

Hope this helps,

Hoi,

There is no way to freeze like in Excel.
You can enter another instance of the Task Name column more to the right.

It is possible to put name in the very first column (where task ID is) and
lock it. That would freeze the name so it won't disappear when you scroll.
But that would be wierd and you couldn't edit it.

Sorry, Jack, but you can edit it via a double click in Task Information
form. :)
