Freezing Data when resources are stripped out

Is there a way to maintain Start/Finish dates, Duration, % Complete, and
Constraint Type when stripping out Resources and setting Work equal to 0?

You can memorialize this data by copying it to spare text or date fields
prior to stripping out the data.

You could also set an artificial baseline... Tools/Tracking/Save Baseline
then select something like Baseline4. The data should be saved there,
although %complete would not be.
