Frontpage and VS

This is really causing me a lot of pain so if anyone can help it would be
greatly appreciated.

I used to have a directory under my main web called ordering. I then deleted
it from the server. I am trying to now recreate a subweb. That works but
everytime I create a file that has the same name as a file that used to be
in the main web in the ordering directory I get

"cannot save the file 'ordering/index.aspx' to the Web Server. Server
Errror: ordering/index.aspx does not refer to a page or folder in this web.
It may be a page or a folder in a sub web, or it could be a badly formed
URL."

If create a file that didn't used to exist (ie /ordering/newfile.aspx) I
have no problem. Where does frontpage store its info. The /ordering
directory was completely deleted.

Thanks
Jon
