FrontPage Form Fails when in an ASP Webpage

I have a simple FrontPage generated form that both writes
to a file and has a confirmation page. It works fine in
a HTM page but fails when the file is renamed as an ASP
file.

Why and what can I do to correct this?

Paul,

The FP form is designed to work with .htm and .html
extensions.

Aside from creating an ASP form, I don't know of a way
around this.

We have researched and discovered that the form works if
1) the contents are sent to a database and the
confirmation form is an ASP page as well.
