frontpage xp, who can tell me

Who can tell me why it is that when I look at pages on the computer I
created them on, using FrontPage XP, that the www does not show up in the
url address bar. However it does show up on my other computer. Is that
causing a problem that may cause other people to not be able to view my
pages?
Will it hurt the chances of search engines locating my pages? Is it
something I done wrong while creating the links to cause this to happen and
is there anything I can do to correct the pages on my system?
