FTP Revisited

Arny Hooton

I mistakenly posted an earlier question in the Gen'l category but . .
How can I create a hyperlink to a folder of files that I want the visitors
to my site to be able to download? I'm guessing this will be an FTP solution,
but I'm not positive of that either. The folder to download contains ~20
files and I don't want to download each of them individually.

in addition to what Don recommended, also put an index.html page in the
downloads folder unless you want the folder to display all the files if
someone browsed to "downloads".

I haven't found that necessary if "downloads" is a subfolder on the site. I
get the following when I don't have a default .htm file:

Directory Listing Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.

True if the folder is set as; non-browseable already.
