Fuzzy TIFF's On Screen Only

I'm creating a Word document in Mac and inserting a PC
version TIFF into the document. On my Mac it looks okay on
screen and prints okay, but on several PC's it prints okay
but looks very fuzzy on screen. What is causing this, how
can I fix it? Thank you.

Hi David,

Word smoothes bitmaps. With low resolution bitmaps, that isn't an
improvement :-/

According to http://support.microsoft.com/?id=255552, it should help to cut
the bitmap and "Paste special" as "picture (enhanced metafile)".
This doesn't seem to help much in Word2003 though... but "Paste special" as
device-independent bitmap does seem to do the trick (avoid the smoothing).
