Gantt Chart and Resource view

I have multiple sections of a project in the Gantt Chart view. I wanted to
be able to highlight tasks in this view and have them still be highlighted in
the Resource Usage View so I can tell which section the tasks came from. I
know the Gantt Chart and Resource Usage view use two different tables so does
anyone know how to do this?

Hi,

Highlighting can not be transferred to the Usage View, Sorry.
You can transfer a custom field such as Text7, Number5, etc... which can
help you sort, filter or group in the resource Usage View; if you're
interested I can post a macro doing that.

But highlighting, sorry, no.

However I could not get that to work. I tried entering data in column text
1 in the Gantt Chart view but nothing shows up in the Resource Usage View.

Sorry for not making myself clear. You need VBA code to do that, that's what
I ment. It doesn't happen spontaneously. If you can implement a macro, I'll
send the code.
