General Publisher question...

I'm trying to find a SW package which will allow me to create logos, font
manipulation as well as to take a another design and insert other verbage
into it...like using another logo and putting in other words...can i do this
with this software? Thanks.

program would be a better choice for the
task you describe.

Maybe the 60 day free trial of DIS2006
would be worth a look:

You can do a lot of what you are asking in Publisher. Do you already have the
program?

I don't have the product yet...I will definitely buy it when I somewhat

This is best done with a draw application.

There is a free version of Serif DrawPlus available at
www.freeserifsoftware.com. The open-source OpenOffice.org Draw is quite
capable, and is available from www.openoffice.org. Personally, I use
CorelDraw, which costs money. Graphics professionals prefer Adobe
Illustrator, which I think costs even more.

Xara Xtreme - powerful and reasonably priced.

All the free Serif stuff is very good...and eventually they do stop sending
emails
