General Questions regarding Publisher

Need Help

1) I have written around 300 pages in Word (blooklet size) that I would like
to import into publisher. When I import the Word Document, into a blank
publication it imports everything correctly but it defaults to full page
letter size and I get only 90 pages. How do I import it with the correct
paper size?

2) If I change the size to booklet in publisher, the page in the back
ground goes to the right size BUT the Text boxes stays the same size. When
I go to the last page, I only have a third of my document left. If I reduce
the size of the paper I expected to get the extra pages add on. I am stuck
at 90 pages. Where did the rest of my document go? Any suggestions?

3) I have a generated table of contents in the Word document. Is it
possible for Publisher to regenerate the page numbers whenever I insert a
picture or make a change. Or am I forced to make the changes manually?

4) I would like to change a master set to my own desingn (not just the font,
colors, etc). I would like to have my own pictures and design and have it
applied to every page. Is there a URL that show how to do that?

In page setup, depending on your version of Publisher, in 2000 and below, "special
fold", select booklet, Publisher will ask if you want to insert 3 pages, click yes.
In the arrange menu adjust the margins. Create a text box on page one and two, link
the two text boxes, paste your text on page one, Publisher will automatically create
text boxes and pages.
Regarding page numbers, view, go to background if you have 2000 or below, in the
newer versions, insert. Publisher will add/subtract page numbers.
Publisher also has a good help section.
Your table of contents will be of no use in Publisher if you want the information to
change when you edit your pages.
Word can handle the table of contents quite well, Publisher cannot.
