1 I made a new project by MS project standard 2002.

2 When I tries to publish (Collaborate > Publish All
information) in MS Project standard 2002, I gets an error
: You try to public a nonenterprise project to MS project server.
Administrator deny the nonenterprise project to project server.

3 I can log in MS project server by web,but nothing in web pages.

My question is how can I publish all information to project server.

I would really appreciate if someone could give me some hints what else
to try.

Thanks,

Hi Lava,

I Think you need Project 2002 Pro to publish to Project 2002 server with
enterprise projects. However, not being an expert I suggest to repost to
the correct newsgroup :

For reference to all the Project Newsgroups, please see FAQ No 24: Project
and Project VBA Newsgroups

For Project 2002 questions, on the msnews.microsoft.com server, try these
newsgroups:

For Project 2002 Professional version:
microsoft.public.project.pro_and_server

For Project 2002 Standard version:
microsoft.public.project.standard_and_server

You are more likely to get an answer there. If you cannot access those
newsgroup, then re-post here stating that fact and we'll do our best to
help.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: <http://www.mvps.org/project/>

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on:)

hi Dale Howard , Mike Glen

Very thanks for your help.

After installing MS Project 2002 Professional, I set something in
<Tools - Enterprise Options - Microsoft Project Server Accounts >and
reopen
project 2002 ,then got an error:
"Cannot connect.

Microsoft project was unable to establish a connection with the
selected Microsoft project Server.
This could be caused by a loss of network connectivity, invalid
username or password, lack of an enterprise global template, problems
with the Microsoft project Server or database, or your Microsoft
project Server may not have enterprise features enabled."

Detail information:
1 I set an account name which can log in project server via web page.
2 I filled in an url, test connection is ok!
3 set an user name same as the account which can log in project server
via web page.
4 check "Set as default account"
5 reopen project 2002 professionnal, input the password, got an error.

I would really appreciate if someone could give me some hints what
else
to try.

Thanks,

D

Ask your Project Server administrator to do the following:

1. Log into PWA with Administrator permissions
2. Click the Admin menu
3. Click the Manage Users and Groups option
4. Select your (lava) account and click the Modify User button
5. Add you (lava) to the Project Managers group
6. Click the Save Changes button

After this has been done, try logging into Project Server through Microsoft
Project 2002 again. Please let me know if this helps.
