Getting Office 2003 Pro to Work

I purchased a new copy of MS Office 2003 Professional and
installed it with no problems. When I try and open any
of the programs the MS installer opens and requests my
product key for MS Office 2003 Standard. I don't have
the standard edition so the product key that I enter from
my 2003 professional program won't work.

Has anyone else experienced this? I read that Project
has done this, but no fix was provided.
