Global Address List & Office

I'm having a problem viewing the Global Address List from Word & Excel on my
company system. I can view it in Outlook but I can only see local contacts in
Word & Excel. Is there a setting that needs to be changed to resolved this?

Word and Excel will look for entries in your Contact folder, not the GAL.
