That's what your web editor is for. Publish the website, and
globally-replace the hyperlinks with that.

Otherwise, you would need to fire up your AppleScript coder and have at it.

The hard bit is opening each Word document: once you have that done, you can
change hyperlinks with a Find/Replace. Make sure you view the Field Codes
in the document, because Find cannot change what it cannot "see".

If you only have a few files to do, you can open about 20 different
documents in one hit (depending on how powerful your computer is: a
workstation will open up to a hundred before it runs out of puff...). And
that's what I usually do, because writing code to obtain and iterate a list
of files is a chore...

With a little fiddling, you can create an Automator Workflow to do this:
there is a sample "Find and Replace Text in Word Documents" workflow in
Office 2008 Professional that will form the guts of it. Use Find Finder
Items to start it off.
