got myself out of the fix

now can access outlook, illustrator and all the other
software...

how the heck does one prepare word/outlook to be imported
to palm?

This isnt the best place for Palm info, but I can help. Do also try Yahoo
Groups for the Palm forums, they have some of the best.

You will need your Palm CD and to install the Palm conduit. if you are using
any flaviour of NT, you will need to be logged in as the admin to properly
do this. Then set up the palm software to sync what folders that you want.
Ditto with whatever software that syncs with Word.
RTFM and all will be good.
