I inserted a graphic in a word document and it has a line
under the graphic that I can't take off. It is like it
has a permanent border unlong the bottom. Help!

Hi Ann,

There are some cases where this is part of the graphic,
others where it's related to the specific graphics card
or printer driver being used, but you may have applied
a border. Select the picture and use Format=>Borders & Shading.
You may also want to check the shadow settings on the
Drawing Toolbar.

It's also possible that the line is part of a border for
the text paragraph the graphic is part of.

If it is a part of the graphic using the 'crop' tool
on the Word 'Picture' toolbar would allow you to chop
it off.

And don't overlook the possibility that the underlining could be a result of
change tracking.
