Graphics and Pictures appear blank

Hello,
I have a problem with inserting my graphics and pictures
all of a sudden. When I insert a clipart or a picture
into Word it will not show up, there is a box where the
graphic should be but I can't even move the box. When I
double click on the box where my graphic should be it
takes me to the editing page and the graphic or picture
will show up there. I do not know what settings I may
have changed to have this happen but I need to fix it fast
as this is something I use alot.
Anyone who can help please do!!!

You need to diable picture placeholders...

Click...

Tools | Options | View: and clear the checkbox, Picture
placeholders

Actually Leah, you don't need to download anything as Mike
suggested to see your images. Follow my original
suggestion, and turn OFF the picture placeholders....
