Does anybody have a good way of creating a graph paper on Word that is easy
to use?

Not sure that the way you create the graph paper has any effect on how easy
it is to use...

Create a table with the rows and columns set to the grid size you want, then
apply borders. But given the price of ink and toner, it's probably cheaper
to buy it pre-printed.
