Groove 2007 on Windows 2000

Help please...

I need to activate Groove but it seems like I'm stuck. I have an existing
trial version of Groove running (3.1a) and want to activate it. But when I go
to the web site and select the Store option, I'm told that 3.1 is no longer
available for purchase, and that the Beta 2007 version is available for
download. Now that seems odd: why would I want to use (or try) a beta version
when I'm willing to purchase a licence for the current version.

But that's not all...

When I finally relented and downloaded the beta version, it told me that I
can't install it on Windows 2000. The machine I want to install on is a
server, so the upgrade path for this server is Windows Server 2003, but I see
comments in the forum about Groove not certified to run on Windowes Server
2003.

So, what am I supposed to do? I have a fully functional piece of software
that I need to use and purchase but can't, and it seems, can't upgrade...

Hi,

Groove 2007 can run fine on Windows server 2003. The whole office 2007
system includes Groove 2007 will be released in Novermber. You can purchase
license soon, and we strongly recommend our customer to run Groove 2007 on xp
sp1, or later version of windows. Old operation system are no longer
supported.
