handling recurring tasks

I;ve recently started to use recurring tasks more frequently. My intention
is to say, I'd like to work on task X for Y hrs a day over the next Z days
where I have at least Y hrs free.

however, I find that project quickly starts deviating from my intention, in
the schenaro where i add other tasks BEFORE the recurring one. The problem
is that prject implements the recurrence using SNE constraints. So, instance
2 of a (daily) recurring task will be set up to SNE than the day after
instance 1. If resource levelling ends up shifting the whole recurring task
forward, the start no earlier than constraints do not get updated, so project
ends up scheduling them all to start on the same day.

What I then do is edit each instance of the recurring task, putting in a
dependency on the previous task and adding a F-S lag of 1 day.

I think project should actually implement recurring tasks this way. It's
more logical.

Failing that, at least the SNE constraints on a recurring task should get
updated during levelling.
