I am having a lot of trouble trying to find out information on the following
problem with outlook 2003.
Periodically outlook will freeze/hang and will have to forcefully end the
program through task manager. At this time the following entry is created in
event viewer....
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Application Hang
Event Category: (101)
Event ID: 1002
User: N/A
Description:
Hanging application OUTLOOK.EXE, version 11.0.8118.0, hang module hungapp,
version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.
I also get the exact same error mentioned above but with IEXPLORE.EXE and
WINWORD.EXE.
I have ensured all windows updates and office updates are installed.
I have noticed this seems to be a wide spread problem but cannot find a
resolution.
The closest match is instaling the update rollup 2 for microsoft dynamics
CRM 3.0, but i have no idea if this is relevant or what CRM is. Would it be
safe to install this ??
