Hard drive

In the process of moving my computer was damaged and now I can not get any of
my encryped word and excel documents to open. I have the hard drive in an
external case and you guessed it I do not have the key to decryped them. Any
ideas on how to open them or transfer them to my new computer? The old
computer was running XP pro and the new has Vista on it if this will help.

When you say "encrypted" do you mean that you password-protected them, or
that they were encrypted using EFS?

If you want to recover your lost data, then try GO BACK software, it will
automatically recover all your data to the original format.
