Having problems with externally linked milestones

Hello,

They are linked FS there is no constraint on Milestone 1 in first plan but
it is showing as a different date from the milestone in the second plan

what are the reason this could be happening?

Hi Elle,

You don't give us much information to work with.

Are the milestones linked F to S or are both milestones linked to a
common predecessor?
Does either milestone have an additional predecessor?
Is there lag or lead added to the link between milestone?
Are both tasks truly milestones - duration zero?

You can see your projects, we can't. So letting us know more details
would really help us help you.

I think i've sorted the problem but can you just confirm that when i change a
milestone to 100% complete in one plan the same miletone in the other plan
won't automatically update?? and needs to be manually updated to 100%??
