having trouble reinstalling mso 2000 on xp

I have had this copy and version of mso 2000 on this
exact computer windows xp osp before but I uninstalled
when i had to reformatt my computer, i have uninstalled
and reinstalled mso 2000 a couple times before on this
computer and never had any problem, so i am wondering now
what the problem is? Should i uninstall works first?
PPPPPPPPPllllllllleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaassssssssseeeeeeee!!!!
