Head Footer Again!!

When I insert a header and I select the page number option, the page number
shows on the screen. When I go to print preview, it shows {page}. I
researched this problem on the ms website, and it says hit alt-and f9 key.
When I do, it shows the page number in print preview, but when it prints out,
the header shows {page}... What am I doing wrong? I have MS Word 2002...

Any help would be appreciated!

On the Print tab of Tools | Options (note: *Print* tab--not View tab), clear
the box for "Field codes."
