help in Office XP is blank

Hi,

This problem happened to me before but it somehow regulated itself. When
clicking on a help topic, the help window pops up blank. What causes this?

You've stumped the chump.

Seriously, which application and which help topic? Does this happen for
lots of help topics or only a few?

Sometimes, rebooting helps. If you reboot, does Help still come up blank? If
so, then try Help - Detect and Repair from the menu of any the main Office
XP programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Access...).

When I search for a specific topic, I get results. I can click on any item
but when the window that contains the information pops up, it is blank. It
happens for all topics.

I tried rebooting and that didn't do anything either.

Looks like you'll need to try reinstalling Office.

I read something about working on a network can cause problems. Since I
bring my laptop home every night, I reboot connected to the network sometimes
and sometimes not.

Do you think this may be a source of my problem?
