Posted this query some time ago, got one reply which did not solve my problem.
Anyone else got any ideas?
I was using Excel and ran into a problem with a formula.
I asked the question of Office Assistant and was rewarded with a couple of
topics.
When I click on a topic the help side-pane does not open and detailed help
never appears.
I repeated the request using the toolbar search rather than the assistant -
same.
Just as a check I tried other Office products all appear the same.
Does anyone know what is wrong?
I have already tried repairing my installation and that didn't fix it either.
My Office installation is fully service packed and patched from the update
site.
Version: Office XP Professional
The previous response I got was something related to registry problems due
to installation of different versions of Office which causes the help tabs to
be blank. This machine has only ever had Office XP Pro on it and my problem
is the help pane does not appear at all.
